Hunters may kill plenty of deer in Alabama this hunting season, with a lot of it  going onto kitchen tables and into empty freezers. But, what should a hunter  when he shoots a deer and no longer needs the meat?

Helping the Hungry, a program that provides processed deer meat to local food banks. All you have to do is drop the field dressed deer off at a processor and the state pays them $1 per pound to ground it into hamburger meat.  Through this program over ½ million pounds have been donate. Thanks Hunters for feeding the Hungry in Alabama.
